Ergonomic products require education before purchase — customers need to understand how posture affects health and how to configure products for their specific workspace. Standard product pages were failing completely at both, resulting in a 1.2% conversion rate.
Our Approach
Customer Research
Interviewed 40 buyers and 200 abandoned-cart visitors. The finding: people wanted to buy but didn't know which product was right for their setup.
Configurator Design
Built an interactive product configurator with chair height, armrest angle, lumbar adjustment, and real-time 3D preview of their specific configuration.
Assessment Quiz
Designed a 60-second workspace assessment quiz that recommends a personalised bundle — reducing decision fatigue and increasing average order value by 35%.
Subscription Integration
Built Stripe Subscriptions for consumable accessories (cushion covers, lumbar inserts) — creating predictable recurring revenue from a one-time purchase.
The Solution
A Next.js platform with an interactive product configurator, 3D preview built on React Three Fiber, a personalised assessment quiz, and Stripe subscription for consumable accessories. Conversion rate went from 1.2% to 4.7%. Subscription revenue now accounts for 28% of monthly recurring revenue.
